Terry St. John- Senior Pastor
Terry has been the Senior Pastor at Hollywood Baptist Church since 2005. Originally from Madison Heights, Virginia, Terry pastored in Maryland and Tennessee prior to pastoring Hollywood. Terry is a graduate of the Institute of Biblical Studies and Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He has been happily married to his wife, Holly for 42 years. She has served alongside of him in ministry for the past 41 years. The Lord has blessed them with four children: Justin, Jordan, Tara, and Jared, and three grandchildren: Jaden, Raegan, and Everly. Terry has learned to enjoy hunting since coming to Hollywood, and most of all enjoys people and considers it a privilege and honor to serve the Lord.
Julie Ragsdale- Secretary
Julie joined the staff of Hollywood Baptist Church in 2015. She recently completed a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She enjoys working with people of faith of all ages. Her hobbies include reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
Mandi Dolan- Music Director
Mandi Dolan was hired as the Music Director of Hollywood Baptist Church in December 2021. She visited HBC when she first moved to Chatham in 2014 and fell in love with the sense of community and belonging that HBC offers. Since then, her servant’s heart has been proven by her commitment to several ministries in the church including serving as the Children’s Church Director, a member of the Missions Committee, and a participant in the choir and praise team which led her to her current role in the music ministry. She is also a faithful attendee of WISH Bible Study. Mandi received her Bachelor of Arts from Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg) in 2013 in Communication Studies with minors in biology and theatre. She also received her Masters of Science from Virginia Tech in 2019 in Agricultural and Extension Education. Mandi’s skill sets, hobbies, passions, and interests vary widely, but one thing remains consistent through it all: her love for, devotion to, and faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ.
